I love this book! I would say this is my “Bible” when I need to bake traditional Italian cakes, cookies ,pralines or puddings. Every recipes contains the precise amount of the ingredients and the directions are explained in a very brief and schematic way.
The first two chapters are dedicated to the materials and machinery used in a pastry workshop.
There are no pictures of the goodies, but it’s a manual (used in many Italian schools of pastry); and with a little knowledge of the subject of this book, it won’t be a problem understand all the recipes.
Unfortunately is available only in Italian, but with a little help of a translator (as google translator), you’ll be able to bake authentic traditional Italian desserts.
