I’ve never been a big fan of nougat, until my friend Giuseppe made me try the nougat from his hometown Bagnara Calabra. As soon as I had the first bite I fell in love with this tiny and delicious treat.
Bagnara Calabra is a cute, small beach town on the Calabria region, where masters torronai (nougat makers) have kept alive the traditions. These nougats are fresh, homemade with the finest raw materials as almonds, honey and dark chocolate since 1968.
