What’s better than a glass of refreshing homemade lemonade to beat the heat?
Quick, simple and delicious…enjoy 😉
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water (for the syrup)
1 cup lemon juice (about 5 lemons)
4 cups cold water
In a small saucepan heat sugar and water until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow the syrup to cool.
With a juicer, squeeze out the juice from 5 lemons.
Pour the syrup and the lemon juice into a pitcher.
Add 4 cups of cold water and stir vigorously.
Refrigerate for an hour.
Serve cold with ice cubes and lemon slices.
