I was born and raided with Pane & Nutella, the delicious hazelnut spread well-known all over the world. Nutella has been my first sweet “addiction” since I was a child. I remember my grandma preparing Pane & Nutella for me, my sister and my cousin. She used to cut a MICHETTA (the traditional Milanese bread) in half and spoon a couple of tablespoons of Nutella on the bottom of each michetta. As soon as I started to eat my MERENDA (afternoon snack) , my face was covered with Nutella and my heart and palate filled with joy. Now that I’m a grown up, I still indulge myself with a teaspoon of Nutella pretty much every day and it also become my daughter’s favorite treat.
Tomorrow, Feb 5th, will be the World Nutella Day, so get ready to celebrate with a huge jar of Nutella and a spoon, as well.
