What’s better than a picnic on a sunny day in SoCal, with friends and Italian food ???
This is exactly what happened yesterday afternoon. My husband, my daughter, me and a dear couple (Italian/Japanese) and their adorable son.
Giuseppe, our friend, is an amazing musician and a Panini Master. He always prepare delicious panini using the best fresh ingredients and homemade bread made by his sweet wife Shihomi.
The secret for a perfect Panino Italiano (Italian Panini) is to stuff the panini not too much, using one type of cured meat (prosciutto, mortadella, salame) at the time, a thin slice of cheese (Provolone, Mozzarella or Cream Cheese spread), and moist the bread with a couple of drops of EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil).
Less is More…Delicious 🙂
