Scottish Shortbread

Super easy recipe, delicious taste 😉

2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1 cup unsalted butter, cold
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar, sifted
1/4 teaspoon salt


Preheat oven at 325 degrees.
With a stand or hand mixer , mix together butter and confectioners’ sugar at medium speed until creamy.Reduce speed at low speed and add slowly the sifted flour and salt. Place the dough in a 9 inches square cake (a round one will works too). Using a fork , prick the entire surface.Bake for 30 minutes.While warm , cut in rectangles. Cool completely on a cooling rack.
